Extremely Readable My first Larry McMurtry book after seeing all his movies. So well written. Could not put it down. Great character development. Would recommend this book to anyone. MeI'm off to next McMurtry book.. "Five Stars" according to Harry. This was another excellent book by Larry McMurty. A Customer said Another McMurtry/Ossana Success. What an incredible tale of human suffering, compassion, forgiveness, begrudgement, and triumph--depending on your perspective of course. Ned Christie is the classic tragic hero. His greatest flaw is intertwined with his greatest strength (vengence/tenacity).
