Excellent This book brought me back to my days on a destroyer! It's full of seamanship, crew interactions and name calling, and family history - but then, isn't that what occurs on the ships across the world. The action took its toll and I couldn't put the book down. Well done!. Too "British" Ok story but it's so full of British lingo that it's like reading something written in a foreign language. The story itself drags badly for much of the book but ends well.. If you like WW2 stories Well paced and written book. If you like WW2 stories, Fullerton is hard to beat as he served on subs himself. Recommended.
