A good read especially from the point of view of the authors writing in days past when things were a bit different (but much the same). The overwhelming message of this book is education. Education for everyone- black, white and beyond. I'm an older white guy that learned something new from this old book. This should not be a mandatory re. "Five Stars" according to Amazon Customer.
