"Lee Marvin RIP" according to Norm Beavers. From the beginning I have always looked forward to Bill Johnstone's books, from Westerns to War to Horror to romance, or whatever! Lately, I've begun to have second thoughts about the many books with his name on them that don't reflect his style.This was a good book, but it wasted so many words on events unnecessary to the single plot that I found it very boring in spots. I miss the one plot technique with lots of related action, no filler!I did not like the use of "Wild Bill" El. The Dirty Dozen Meets Terrorists This was the first novel I read by William Johnstone. I was unfamiliar with him until several months back, just for the heck of it, decided to read a western. I picked up one by his nephew, JA Johnstone and much to my surprise, I loved it. I’ve read 3 westerns by JA and have loved them all. I decided to read William and picked up Suicide Mission.I like reading many genres. Some of my favorite authors are Connelly, Baldacci, Gerritsen, Box, Mayor, Gripando, Scottoline and so. "Good book" according to Tom. This series of books is excellent. Would like to collect them all but there is a couple that are very spendy.
