Author Gordon Doherty has created characters who are worthy of a reader's time and interest, and each book in the series leaves the reader looking forward to the next volum. I hope this is not the end of this series.I enjoyed the history and the story of Pavo and the IX Claudia legion if you have read Scarrow or Gurney you will enjoy the books by the author..
