The smaller ranchers ar. Good build up to a weak finish Moose Typical Falcon Mac Callister story. As in the past books Falcon tangles with a wanted man (Jefferson Tyree) who is then sent to prison. The prisoner makes a daring escape seeking revenge on Falcon. Falcon goes to Higbee, Colorado to help a friend out who is having trouble with a thug rancher (Ike Clinton) and son's, who he believes is sabotaging efforts to build a railroad.There are murders throughout the book, a couple of romances and a final fight to the finish. It was a good book I enjoyed reading this book. There was a lot of action in this book. It was a good read, even though the ending was not what I expected. I think readers will enjoy this book.
