This is a great book of eight stories by Louis L'Amour: The Outlaws of Mesquite, Love and the Cactus Kid, The Ghost Maker, The Drift, No Rest For the Wicked, That Packsaddle Affair, Showdown on the Tumbling T, and The Sixth Shotgun.Sure worth the money to get these stories in one big hardback edition. I really enjoyed every one of them. All of these are available on Bantam audio recording cassette tapes. There are nice drawings before . A collection of great stories by Louis L'Amour Douglas G. Thomas This is another of L'Amour's works, in which he has collected a set of short stories under a single title.Like all his writing, these are great stories, and each one could easily form the basis for a complete book in its own right.I highly recommend this book to anyone who really likes this author, and the shorter length of each piece means one can set the book aside without wondering what happens next in the story - easy to read in sh.
