Very uninteresting for a child My daughter is reading this book and she says the book is very boring to read. Therefore, I took it from her and started reading it and I had to agree with my daughter the book will put you to sleep.I think children's books should be really captivating so that the child's attention is grabbed immediately. Also since the book is a period based book (California Gold Rush time period), it is not something a child in this day and age can relate to either.I will have to find her a more exciting book that she can also relate to as a child in this day and age.
