LONGARM TAKES A PARTNER ALVIN SNIFF SINCE I HAVE READ THE PREVIOUS 422 LONGARM BOOKS I FEEL THAT I AM QUALIFIED TO GIVE IT THE FIVE STAR STATUS. ALSO, THIS BOOK DEVIATED FROM ALL THE REST AND IN AN INTERESTING WAY, LESS TIME WAS GIVEN TO HIS SEXUAL PROWRESS AND MORE TO HIS LAWMAKING SKILLS. ONE OF THAT TYPE NOW AND THEN WOULD GIVE READERS A DIFFERENT PROSPECTIVE.. "He's as loony as a shouse rat and ornery as a teased snake" No doubt about it;this episode strays greatly from what we have been getting over the years.On rare occasions ,Longarm has had to put up with a "partner" who attaches himself ,or in this case ,herself,to him as he goes off on assignment.I might have expected somone like Ned Buntline;but a lady,dime novelist,and a real looker,.However;as the storyline progresses,Longarm is slowly finding out having Delia Walker tagging along has some benefits and in the end . Amazon Customer said Longarm and the Dime Novelist. This is one of my favorite series of books to read. I don't have to think when I'm reading - all I need to do is enjoy.
