It explains how my investment options are different than they used to be, and some things to look out for when reviewing potential investments.I found this book easy to understand, offering excellent explanations of the differences between stocks/bonds. Basic, Understandable and Comprehensive I have been thinking about getting into investing as a way to increase my assets and have been researching anything and everything I can find, including "alternatives" since I am a little leery of the regular stock market/mutual funds etc. I don't have a degree in finance or anything, so I am just looking for things that can give me some ideas of what is what, and a friend recommended this book.Even wi. "A true guide" according to Renee. This book was incredibly easy to understand. The author did a fantastic job of making the information relevant and engaging. I have read other books on this topic that are biased and seem to be pushing an agenda. This one is not. It is unbiased and objective. This book is a true educational gem.
