It'll be awhile before I can go out in the country by myself at night again.KEEP WRITING!!!. "Spooky and atmospheric: Steven King meets The Twilight Zone." according to FireDancer. Goodness me, this is not one to read just before bed. Each short story gets darker than the last and pulls you in a little further as you join the characters in dealing with so many demons: real or imagined, their effect is the same. Ms Moore has the same light touch with characters as Stephen King, imbuing each one with a memorable quirk. This incarnates them in the flesh (or whatever) in front of you, and keeps them at the forefront of your mind long after you finish reading.. I loved this collection of short-stories Amazon Customer I loved this collection of short-stories, some of which were very creepy indeed. Drawn into each tale, the writing made me feel I was a witness to what was going on, so well defined were the characters, and so atmospheric the settings. If I ever do go to the States, I'm in two-minds as to whether I'd like to visit these places, but curiosity may well get the better of me. Well-paced, wonderfully crafted and, quite often, chillingly good!
