The best splatter-punk Faulkner out there I have been a Nancy Collins fan since I first read SUNGLASSES AFTER DARK. KNUCKLES AND TALES is a great introduction to a terrific story teller. In this assortment of bizarre tales, Arkansas native Collins pays homage to her roots in her typical Southern Gothic (most closely defined as a splatter-punk William Faulkner) style.
