"The best of the genre" according to trudimc. This is the second time I've read this book, and it didn't lose any impact. I am always blown away by how original and realistic Clive Barker's novels are (no matter how fantastic the subject matter). With beautiful imagry and wonderfully crafted characters, this a book that feels far easier to read than its physical size, and will leave you with a lasting memory. Just superb.. When Imajica was released originally, It was heavily advertised on television. This is maybe one of the greatest books no knows about. The only book I've read that keeps the curiosity in hand. Honestly, the book amused and irritated me by turns. The premise was interesting, the world well built, and the characters dynamic - though they were the main source of irritation.
