It is thoughtfully written combining facts with personal anecdotes. It is not one-sided or emotionally charged, and many perspectives are represented here. I think that helps the reader to understand what the author believes is the root cause of the inequality and oppression women face today, but in such a way that the reader can conclude this for themselves.
