Way better than Chemerinsky People seem obsessed with the Chemerinsky supplements, so I bought that one. I hated it, so I sold it and bought this one. Way better!Don't forget, you'll need both Con Law E&Es- individual rights and national powers.. SMK said Great resource!. We use a typical hornbook for our Constitutional Law class - the information format is dry and academic. I bought this Examples and Explanations book to get another perspective. It provided that and so much more. This book included all of the cases that the hornbook covered, but in a much more interesting format. And even though we are required to read dry, legal textbooks, they are required to be uninspiring. We are talking about every Americans' rights - this should be an exciting topic. And this Examples and Explanations book is just that - inspiring and easy to understand!. Unhelpful The book begins with individual rights rather than outlining some of the basic principles, theories, and overall format of the Constitution before jumping in. I like to study for exams by working the examples in these books, but the examples in this book follow the basic fact patterns of major cases. I read these cases for class, so seeing the same fact pattern in the E&E is not helpful. Also, it would be more beneficial for readers to start out with basic examples, rather than fact patterns that deal with issues the book has not covered yet. Overall, very disappointing and a waste of money.
