Five Stars ok. "Outstanding work" according to Seso Shopping. I used this all through law school, and I continue to use it nearly 20 years after law school. This -- not Black's -- is the gift I give any new law student or paralegal. If you need something to cite, use Black's. If you need something to understand, use this.. "Perfect for 1st year law study and beyond" according to PearlGirl. This is a concise reference that seems to have everything a student would need. In addition, it has appendices for the Constitution, a map of the federal judicial courts (1st year exam question), a chart of the courts system and a listing of all the justices from 1789 to 2010. Barron's books tend to be thorough without overwhelming you with information. For the price, I think it is a much better value than Black's.
