Amazingly Disturbing Charla I loved this book and the author's style of writing. This author grabs you by the collar from page one and shakes you through the entire story.. Noam Reshef said Disapointing and shallow. I've read this book after watching Bone tomahawk, a movie I really liked which was directed by the author. This made the book even more disappointing. The writing is bad, the characters seem interesting but are not developed and eventually make no sense, and the plot is linear and not very interesting. The main focus is on violence and shock value.. John Todor said Great Read. I enjoyed it completely. I was not able to anticipate anything and the author was descriptive and painted the world in a way that was easy to imagine.
