Is it a complicated piece? Not really but there are so many layers to this. Good little story that left me wanting more! The descriptions of people and landscapes are well done- rich and evocative without being heavy an. DK said It's a fast-paced story that is pretty true to the synopsis. This was a quick, engaging read - I was able to plow through it in two sittings. It's a fast-paced story that is pretty true to the synopsis, interwoven with flashbacks that add substance to the plot (though occasionally jar the reader away from the action too often)
