Fantastic Classic. Tom This is well worth reading and I think is a great example of how a man should be, whether in today's world or a cowboy of the 1880's. Take your time and taste every word of this story.. "The Virginian - a Horseman of the Plains" according to Hayseed9. Beautiful large print book. I didn't realize when I ordered it that it was fiction, and I'm not really into reading fiction, but I did finish the book and realized it was very well written with a third party being the teller of the story about the Virginian. Turns out it was actually the life story of the Virginian and how he ended up in love, etc. For those who enjoy western fiction, it is a great book!. "The Virginian a Great Read" according to Hayley Shaver author of Gaia's Beings. This was a pretty good western. A tall, dark Virginian falls in love with Molly, an eastern girl that comes to a town where the Virginian works with cattle. Molly is a school teacher. They fall in love, but dark deeds are being done. Plans for the Virginian's downfall are being laid. And Molly's family doesn't want her to marry a cowboy. Can their love survive in such a climate? If you like westerns and romances, this is the book for you.
