"I would recommend it highly" according to Kathleen Sekula. This book was about the Civil War and the Women who helped the North in Virginia. The only violence was talk of the war. I found it an extremely well written book. I have read the quilt series and wondered how this book would be. I would recommend it highly.. bring history to life This was very good book. It took history and made a great story out of it with lots of suspense, excitement, sadness and happiness. I have had many people read it. It is so worth while.. Joyce M.
