Lumley's love of his pulp-horror subjects is gleefully apparent. He revels in every telling detail, in stories-within-stories." --San Francisco Chronicle"Lumley never oversteps the delicate line between blood-chilling horror and cold gruel. An accomplished wordsmith, Lumley wields a pen with the deft skill of a surgeon, drawing just enough blood to titillate without offending his readers." --The Phoenix Gazette. "One of the best writers in the field." --John Farris"Lumley's strength is in his jovial voice, a diction that dominates the narrative
Well worth the price David Another of Lumley's fine Necroscope novels, this doesn't disappoint the avid horror buff. I'll give no spoilers here; I recommend the prospective reader start at the beginning of the series. The novel is well presented in electronic form, the typeface is good, and the basic novel structure is intact. (I've seen some glaring errors in other e-reader adaptations, including missing or misplaced pages and/or chapters.)I'd have given 5 stars if not for typographical errors, some of which forced me to reread lines to comprehend the author's inte. I have read every one of the Necroscope series and I have read every one of the Necroscope series and have read them over and over through the years. Very well written and kept me interested no matter how many times I read it.. Amazon Customer said Best.Vampire.Series.Ever!!!. Love the Necroscope series!!!!!
