"An Enjoyable Book of Sometimes Supernatural Tales" according to Neodoering. Here are stories of the Egyptian afterlife, and tales of philosophical musings down here on Earth, and a few pieces on the bizarre. My favorite of these stories was "Room No. 12" which is one of the bizarre pieces about a woman hosting a party in a hotel and the people she puts out by her extravagant tactics. It's an amusing piece that made me laugh, especially toward the end. Reading this collection has me thinking of Egypt and my travels there all over the country, to see ancient Egyp.
