Funniest book I've read since "No Time For Sergeants." I enjoyed the book immensely. It made me laugh many times. I ordered the DVD movie and it was funny and I liked it almost as much as the book.. "Charming Western Story" according to R Yull. I just loved this story, short but complete with a look at western experience on the range without the usual shoot outs and Indians. I really got a sense of the cowboy and the hardships even though these characters were part of a more contemporary ranch. Max Evans is an extraordinary story telle.
