Great historical fiction The Fighting Doctor (The Medicine Wagon Book 1) by Gary McCarthy is great historical fiction. The writing was true to the era from the first page. Am I weird to say that I enjoyed reading of disease, as it was viewed in the past? I especially appreciated the authenticity of how the author spoke . "Book just ends in middle of story" according to Ronald N.. Short book just endsleaving you hanging. You need to figure out the rest for yourself, makes you think author gave up.. "Loved It" according to Ruth Ann Isam. Now I get to read #2 book. Never a dull moment and the characters were so true to life. This is my first book my Gary but it will surely be one of many.
