Just like first book, good story, interesting characters, and some good battle descriptions. My only criticism is the second book plot is like a soap opera. I still recommend book for history buffs.. "The conquest of Britain seen through a Roman's eyes" according to Ross Durham. This is a sequel to Scarrow's first book, Under the Eagle, and is every bit as good as its antecedent.
