I've taken the tours in Boston down through D.C. I've read several Revolutionary War-era books and watched a few of the themed movies. Heck, I've even watched Liberty Kids with my children. But reading through just a summary of The Quartet--I'm still very ignorant!!This Instaread summary did an excellent job of getting me psyched to read Mr. Ellis's book. As they point out, Ellis is a Pulitzer-prize winning author, writing and teaching about this tumultuous time of our country. Instaread points. A Summary Every American Should Read! This summary is an excellent synopsis of the great work and effort which the founding Americans put forth to form this nation. I will be the first to admit that history can be bland for most, but Instaread does a fantastic job at capturing the main points from Joseph Ellis's book, and only covering the most essential points. Additionally, the summary includes an incredible character analysis into the relationship between many of the founding men of this country.Overall, I was very pleased with this summary.
