Ralph Cotton writes the best Westerns of our time. Too many Western genre authors are stuck with stereotypical characters but not Cotton. Interesting stories & unusual circumstances make his books enjoyable.. "Only average writing with too much ugliness. Not Cotton's best." according to Action music lover. While Cotton is a very creative storyteller and his writing keeps you engaged, some of the story is too dark for me.
