An inventive and excellent book If you are a fan of the original film, Night of the Living Dead, then this book of short stories explains what happens to the main characters before they get to the house. You also get to know the backstory of the first zombie you see in the film and the sheriff at the end of the film. I was very impressed with how the authors told the characters stories and their actions fit right into the movie. I totally recommend this book.. "Truly thought out" according to The Wolf 006. I'm an avid fan of zombie fiction and this anthology hit all of the topics that you would expect in a zombie anthology, and then some. The first story is a zombie story from a different point of view,while the next three stories gave readers a background into the characters from the famed Night of the Living Dead. These characters were spot on with regards to the characters in the movie. My favorite story was The Picnic, it was almost like the author took the movie characters and put them into pages. This anthology is a must for any Zom. C. Weaver said DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!. Poorly written. Poorly edited. Poorly printed and published. This farce is a knock off attempt to explain what happened in the hours before the movie Night of the Living Dead. I was quite ticked when I realized what it was and that I wasted my money on something that looks like a senior in high school wrote and published it. Seriously? These guys are serious? They say it's an anthology, but it's just the inauthentic writing of two guys who can't stay true to time period, language, or plot. If you really want to read it, don't buy it, I'
