Actually, it rather fails as a sampler for dipping into, because these stories are as compelling as potato chips, and there is no simply no stopping at just one. And what a cunning plan to begin the title with In Sunshine. "High quality horror!" according to Adrian Shotbolt. Anthologies are always a great way to discover new talent. This anthology proves that there is more than enough talent currently residing in Australia's darkest corners. There is real nice mixture of short stories on offer. Two that really stood out for me were the tales by Joe Young-a story about a group of survivors adrift inside a submarine and a brilliant vampire tale that takes place in Kuala Lumpur. The book finishes on a real high too with a story about the horrors of war. . "A great collection of Horror!" according to AngeleneFay. What a great collection of Aussie horror stories by some seriously talented writers! Featuring diverse themes and including some down home Aussie locations (I especially loved the The River Slurry by Rue Karney set in my home town of Brisbane), I really enjoyed this book. Please release more!!!
