Good nautical fiction Elizabeth Tobias Kent's writing here (and in v.1&2) isn't geared for the ultra-knowledgeable Jack Tar, but for those whose feet are at least damp from the sea spray. No foot notes, but not much exotic vocabulary, either. The writing style and non-stop adventure seem better suited for an action movie or adolescent reading. Now, that said, it would make a g. "great, enjoyable stories" according to Basso Bill. Very well written; great, enjoyable stories, apparently well-researched; very believable.. "A great book!" according to Matthew Rayle. A must have for any fan of historical naval fiction, history and great stories!
