I love the books from the Johnstones. This book however, began to get a bit tedious after the fortieth and so shooting of a bad guy. I understand they they needed killing and had no worth, but it just went on and on. I would not of thought there were so many scumbags in the old west! Amazining.. years after his death! Amazining.. Fourth Guns (Preacher/First Mountain Man) The High Lonesome draws interesting folks west. Those that want to be there, those that want to change it, and those without the presence to know they never should have left home. Those wanting to be there want to fit in. Those that want to change it think it's their right or even mission. Those that should have stayed home Well they were warned - repeatedly!. Amazon Customer said Just the same as the last book!. It was almost a repeat of other preacher stories. Very little new.
