One of the better Mountain man books in the past 5 years Israel S. Munsey All i can say is this one seems to be a better book, starts off with a Preacher/Smoke episode that none of us have experienced almost like some of the early books. The writing is better than the few we have had in the past years. I look forward to more Preacher/Smoke books. "Winford Hatfield" according to Winford. WW Johnstone How does he write so many books that are on the same subject and yet I cannot stop reading. I begin with a sample and cannot stop. He writes so you can "fast read" when you think it is too wordy or you don't mind reading every word even when some books have almost identical language in some chapters, not often, but yet so you will knowbut I love his books. I only read Kindle now. I have 2 and my wife will not yet switch, I just do not understand why anyone would hold a 20 oz. book and lose their page when they could have all benefits of a Kindle; read in sunlig
