It covers control, conflict, and other theories, with an interesting section on feminine crime This book is very convolluted and hard to follow at times, jumping back and forth between history and theoristsit needs to be made more clear and concise, and to make up whether it wants to be a book of theory or history. Cullen is Distinguished Research Professor Emeritus in the School of Criminal Justice at the University of Cincinnati, where he also holds an appointment as Senior Research Associate.
