"Worst Law School Casebook I have ever used" according to Law Student. This is the worst law school case book I have used. The excerpts from the cases are below average, the commentary and notes after and before cases is, entirely too long, confusing, and just filled will all sorts of nonsensical theories. The book plays hide the ball so often, you really have to wonder if the authors/editors really didn't want students to be able to unders. Wish I could give it zero stars. Ives The short version: don't bother buying this book. Buy Chemerinsky's treatise.The horrible format of the notes ALONE is reason for professors to not adopt this textbook. Between the "cases" (which, generally, are 75% summary that was probably cribbed from Chemerinsky and "rephrased," and 25% slice-and-diced quotes from the opinions taken completely out of context) are PAG.
