L. Christensen said Didn't see it as others did. This story had a lot of action and a lot of entertaining characters. There was also an extreme amount of violence and it was overly descriptive in some areas. I wasn't too impressed with all the errors, considering the author owns an editing company.. Possum said Four Stars. This was a pretty good read, but sometimes I felt like the main character was Rhambo. Even though there was an occasional casualty among the "white eyes," Squire went through those "redskins" like Samson went through the Philistines with the jawbone of an ass! Enjoyed the description of the characters and the landscape. Story line was very good, with lots of mystery on who the main character could trust and the use of his natural instincts. Thought at times he left the main group for too long of a period to be the one making decisions for the group, on the other hand enjoyed the personal sideline stories
