A classic for each side at the NLRB As a practicing union attorney, I have found this treatise essential. It is from the perspective of an experienced insider who walks both management and labor through the process of actually trying cases at the NLRB - both unfair labor practices and representation cases. If you have never had the pleasure of doing this, you would be shocked at some of the weird rules for cases - such as no credibility determinations in R cases that have evolved at the NLRB. It also has pretty useful checklists on topics in these cases with case citations. I wish the author would even expand on it more. It is really helpfu. AcornMan said Vital addition to your tool kit. Except for people who have been doing this for years or who have worked as General Counsel for the NLRB, anyone who practices before the NLRB absolutely must have this book. Labor law is a completely different universe, and your training as a student or lawyer has almost certainly done little to prepare you for this kind of work. The price may seem high (and it is), but it's worth every single penny.
