Entertaining but could be better As soon as I began these stories they reminded me very much of the old Armada Ghost books and this feeling remained with me throughout. I read and enjoyed this series as a child but when I read back on them with an adult's critical eye they were not quite as exciting. I felt the same about these stories. They were quite creepy but not compelling or quite well-written enough for me. I read a lot of books and the style was just a little immature for my taste. There were some typos and little niggles e.g. raucous used as a noun instead of ruckus, t. Creepy, thrilling, and incredibly entertaining! Amazon Top Reviewer Edward V'Kanty has an amazing imagination. He composed these stories as if he had lived through them, with incredible attention to detail, and a flawless writing style. I usually take a few weeks to finish a book, and I thought it would take even longer with this book because it is sectioned with short stories. I finished the book in a day. It was a refreshing new kind of supernatural read, and I am anxious to read more of this authors work!. Spine-chilling horror Lee Johnson This is another great horror book out of the many I've recently read. There are plenty of twists and turns in the plotline, which began as complicated to begin with. First we get a glimpse at Hell, from the viewpoint of the main character. The horrors there are described like the author has actually witnessed and experienced them, and I can feel them myself.
