. I think I have achieved that, as this book was a best-seller in its genre in Canada! By the end of 2016 there will be 5 in this series, with more to follow. From the Author My first Western, the product of a long-held dream that I would one day write something in this genre that would do it justice. I simply LOVE writing Westerns, and have other stories with different characters coming soon also. Enjoy my friends

"Western reading in a well written story." according to Berk Rourke. I always start my evaluation of a book, my review with a default rating of five stars. Mr. Yates did nothing to change my rating in this riveting western saga. To be sure I have some critical observations in my mind but they are too few to merit discussion. One question it seems I always ask is who is telling the story. I have had the same question asked of me on occasion and I think it is a valid question in this tale as well. The story itself is good. The characters are as they are supposed to be, a good guy (well not perfect but then who is) and bad guys, one really bad guy in particul. "The Book needs a good proof reader as one guy has two separate first" according to Thomas M. Childress. The Book needs a good proof reader as one guy has two separate first names. He does great detail and then none. He has the main girl making a key decision, but at the end for no reason it changes. A lot happens at the end with no real explanation, it is like I need to finish this book quick. "SOLID WESTERN TALE" according to Joe Christie. If you're a sucker for westerns, Ike me, this one won't disappoint. Unlike the world we live in, good guys and bad guys are clearly discerned; and the good guy takes no prisoners.
