Amazon Customer said Much better than I ever expected!. I purchased this book for a class I am taking. I was very surprised and happy with the contents. It offers a reasonably balanced perspective (besides the slight Marxist leaning) and I have enjoyed reading it. The book compares early philosophy and religious teaching, as well as Eastern thought in a very unique way. Not exactly pleasure reading, but if you pair it with an excellent professor you have a very fine education.. Five Stars good. good book for good people LOL timothy blakely book was perfectly fine and came with baseball cards in it. as well as a mystery!
