I've always been fascinated by the story of Spartacus since I first saw the movie starring Kirk Douglas and have had it on my "to do list" for some time. I recently bought Ben Kane's two book series on Spartacus and have finished the first book and am totally engrossed with the second book of the series. Sp. "An amazing book!" according to sma white (12 years old). This book is an amazing story fused perfectly between fiction and history, I find that not just this book is great, they all are! I think everyone has to st least read one of ben Kane's vivid tales of battle, love, and friendship. "Reads like a racy young adult novel" according to Drew Emery. Pretty basic writing here with characters pretty thinly drawn.
