While this is a novel it is actually much more plausible than the usual thrillers in the gendre while remaining eminently page turning. In fact I felt forced to read the book straight through once I had picked it up. "The characters in this book are interesting and it has" according to Matt Barmack. The characters in this book are interesting and it has an interesting premise--a nuclear terrorist attack in India--but the plot is so ridiculous (I hope), centered around a secret cabal of elite US Government officials who are actually arranging the attack in order to provide a pretext to wipe out Pakistan's nuclear arsenal, that I was unable to suspend disbelief.. Foreign Entanglements Excellent read. Palmer not only provides the reader with an interesting cast of characters, but also some valuable insights into the history of the region.
