Great book Debbie Donley Good book.couldn't put it down.. Jerry R. Blackerby said I enjoyed this book. I enjoyed this book. I love westerns. I had never read a Hopalong Cassidy book by the original author, Clarence Mulford, but had read those written by Louis L’Amour after Mulford retired. Mulford was not L’Amour, but still wrote a good book.. "good plot + believable characters" according to Danny.. Grew up on Hopalong Cassidy: prefer Mulford's version to Lamour's. These two stories are classic Mulford Hoppy: action, good plot + believable characters. Any fan of ' old school ' heroes, bad guys, raw courage + tough, honest manliness: buy this!
