Utter Crap When the communist Chinese were able to sink the sixth and last US nuclear aircraft carrier about halfway through the book, I stopped reading. The author presumably is setting up a scenario in which his national security advisor with "womanly curves" single-handedly save the day, but as I am an American, such a massive American naval defeat put me off my dinner.Having read Rick Campbell's first book, "The Trident Deception", as well as reviews of that book, I've come to realize that Campbell's works are very derivative of other people's work. His first book. Dave said Some of the plot and action sections just too unrealistic. Given the oil market the last few years and shale oil technology, using oil as a reason for China to start a war just isn't close to a real possibility. Without giving away the suspense of the different subplots, I just say the action scenes were too far from reality.
