This book, I am not ashamed to say has brought me back to it to overlook the endings of these stories, for the sake of me not being able to believe the terrifying endings the stories hold!My favorite story in this book bar none is called "Outsteppin Fetchit" What scared me the most when I read this was I didn't have a . "Priceless Gems in DARK MASQUES." according to Gerry Griffiths. There are some good and notable stories in this collection of DARK MASQUES. I love a great short story and wish more readers would realize the importance of condensed storytelling, especially in an age where time is so precious. There are two exceptional stories in this collection, ones that will stay in your mind for years to come, I know, as I always reflect back on them. They are THE LITTER by James Kisner and THE MAN WHO DROWNED PUPPIES by Thomas Sullivan. Read them and you'll know what I'm talking about..
